Again, just wanted to say thanks for the encouraging words. I’ve personally been seeing a counselor since I was 18. Just recently I felt the stress was too high with corona and all the bull so I got back in touch with my go-to guy over zoom. My recommendation: skip the meds. Mental health is a relatively new field of study and the prescriptions feel like they are throwing darts. Again, this is my personal experience so make your own decisions. However, I’d strongly advise against drugs. Check out a book called “the depression cure”.

The therapist I was matched with has been amazing for me. You might be better off on Medicaid. I’m in a big city so maybe that makes a difference but I have so many friends who have lost their jobs and went on some combination of Medicaid, unemployment, welfare, food stamps, etc. People who have been working professionals their entire lives.
