I think there Premium Roentgen X-Ray Vision Since 1895 Shirt might be some confirmation bias here. Lots of people who take drugs don’t make it obvious unless they’re in certain social circles and have very normal/happy lives. It’s easier to notice people who have problems with drugs. Most people drink at least some times and it’d be stupid to say that most of them aren’t happy. I wouldn’t call myself happy….just numb. No alcohol or drugs…just numbed and worn down by life in general. Not feeling anything is actually preferable to all of the grief and the loss and the thousand horrible ways that life can screw you over.

It came a day that I wouldn’t only not feel happy without it. I would feel sadness. I stopped using it. Traveled to a place where I couldn’t buy it for a whole month. It was shitty in the first week. I could enjoy myself for real. started hobbies and games that actually made me want to wake up just to do that thing. Forced me to be happy and then one day I didn’t have to force it anymore. I just was.
