Even he wanted it to be over by then. He got to the point where he didn’t even recognize anyone he was so out of it. It’s such a horrible thing to see a family member physically and mentally wither away. I get that. My friend’s dad went through something similar and it was tough for everybody. I don’t think there’s a good or better way.

Yea it’s the worst way to see somebody go. But I am grateful I was able to spend time and say goodbye. Not everybody gets that. Just hit the year anniversary. My dad fought for almost 2 years.
