I once called the Wakanda Forever 1977-2020 Official Nice Premium Perfect Shirt because my internet was out. Spent 10 minutes doing all kinds of things for the phone operator. He carefully asks: “is your routers electricity cable plugged in?” That’s when the shame and apologies started. Apparently I had taken it out and forgot to plug it back in like a dumbass. I can’t you how many times people refuse to restart only for me to walk over to their office restart the computer and have it fix their issue. Yes Mr. VP I will come right down to deal with a small unimportant issue that a restart would, while I’m in the middle of dealing with a down server that due to you not wanting redundancy leaves half the building unable to work. All because you restarted last month and shouldn’t have to again. Maybe if you know how to close chrome tabs the computer will be faster. Ya, that is a real occurrence that happens far too often in most places I work.
